Where water meets the land
A collection of Thai beaches and waterfalls, from open shorelines to water moving through the forest.

Water changes the feeling of a place. On the coast, it opens the view and draws the eye toward the horizon. At a waterfall, it gathers the landscape into a closer, more immediate scene.
These photographs follow that contrast across Thailand: beaches at the edge of the sea, then waterfalls in Kanchanaburi and Ranong. The settings are different, but each one gave me a reason to pause and listen to the landscape around it.
I like keeping these places together because they bring back different kinds of quiet—the wide stillness of the shore and the steady movement of water through the forest.
